Myriad Company Presentation Mar 10, 2010, Wednesday
Jeff Trost, Vice President of Operations at Myriad Genetics and Laboratories will be coming to campus to talk about their company. Refreshments will be provided. We encourage you to peruse the Myriad website before the activity so that you can ask good questions. The website is www.myriad.com . To sophomores and juniors still looking for a summer internship with a biotechnology company, this will be an invaluable opportunity to network with a company official. To seniors looking for a position or planning on graduate school studies, this might be an opportunity to interface and determine how to structure your PhD research/job application to be competitive for a position at Myriad (or in general). In addition, this activity will be a prelude to a company tour; this is a good chance to get a glimpse of the company at a "global operations" level before we visit their technical labs.
